Game Day in MontgomeryThe ASU Mighty Marching Hornets Band Boosters support the students of the Mighty Marching Hornets and the Alabama State University Department of Music. Every rehearsal, road trip, and halftime show takes more than talent — it takes a community standing behind the band.
Organized in July 2007 in Montgomery, Alabama, the Boosters are a band interest group for the Alabama State University Marching Band and its auxiliaries. Our principal purpose is to support the marching band program by providing funds for scholarships for band students attending the university, along with other band program expenses approved by our Executive Committee.
Our Objectives
- Promote excellence in the marching band program
- Provide financial assistance to the marching band
- Strengthen fan support at band contests and road games
- Promote the goodwill of Alabama State University’s Marching Band Program
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Membership is open to ASU alumni, faculty, staff, and students, parents of band students, friends of the university, corporations, businesses, and organizations.
